Hi, my name is Connie Ingles. I was born in Shreveport, LA, in April of '56, and I have lived here all my life. I was guided thru my childhood by two wonderful parents, Robert and Martha Starkey, also of Shreveport, LA.
I shared my childhood with a sister and two brothers. Without a doubt, my sister is my very best friend!!
I
have a grown son named Chase that graduated from LSU-S in 1999, earning a Bachelor's of Science in Business
Management. He now lives in Round Rock, Texas, with my daughter-in-law
Faith.

Although I have had several jobs in my life, the most rewarding has been working for the Caddo Parish Sheriff's Office as a Deputy Sheriff.
Around
a year ago I started the hiring process and really had no clue how much my life
was going to change. Who would have thought I would of made it through 13 weeks
of torturous training - AKA - Boot Camp! At my age!! What was I thinking!! However, I

I always enjoyed school and with this new job I have as a deputy sheriff, I have expanded my free time into school time. At this time, I am attending here at LSU-S. http://www.lsus.edu/ I also attend Wiley College with some of my other fellow deputies. I am earning a degree in Criminal Justice. Wiley College, http://www.wileyc.edu/ located in Marshall, Texas, offers an 18 to 24 month Bachelor's degree program in Criminal Justice for the Caddo Parish Sheriff's Office. Wow! Do I stay busy! At my age!! What was I thinking!! Living, Learning, Life is Good!!
